Pulitzer Schmulitzer
Stacy Schiff has an op-ed in today's New York Times on historians' ability to apply the words of yesterday's icons to today's issues. But this is what's really interesting:
In other news, word has it that our man AG is going to look over George Washington's personal copy of An Account Of Washington College, housed at the Boston Athenæum. I wonder how he reacted to Smith's claim that he cried at the 1784 commencement?
Stacy Schiff is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France and the Birth of America.”What is this?! They call themselves the 'Paper of Record,' but they can't correctly spell 'George Washington Book?!' Apparently, it's more words than what's "fit to print." Shenanigans!
